Anne (she/her) is a Full Spectrum Doula, trained through Doula Trainings International, and a Certified Advanced Postpartum Doula (EDCD).

Rooted in her own experience as a parent, Anne understands that each parenting journey is unique, and all parents deserve support along their distinctive paths. She takes a responsive and holistic approach to postpartum care, ensuring that your entire family thrives during this transformative period.
Anne creates a nurturing environment for parents to connect with their intuition and resources as they navigate the highs and lows of parenthood. She offers evidence-based infant care, lactation and feeding education, equipping you with the knowledge and skills you need to make decisions and care for your baby with confidence. When necessary, she provides referrals to local resources, ensuring you have access to the best support available. Dedicated to the well-being of new parents, Anne provides both physical and emotional support, encouraging self-advocacy during this critical time of healing and transition. She brings a calming, reassuring, and joyful energy to your space; her presence is a reminder that you are not alone.
Beyond informational and emotional support, Anne loves taking practical steps to ease your load. She enjoys preparing nourishing meals, organizing baby gear, and tidying up your home, allowing you to rest, shower, and bond with your baby without worry. If your family includes a toddler, Anne's creativity shines as she prepares busy kits to keep them entertained during the baby's feeding sessions.
Anne lives in Durham with her husband, two school-aged children, and one sweet & spicy cat. When Anne is not keeping up with her kids and their interests, she enjoys outdoor adventures, books, and podcasts that spark “aha” moments. Mending clothes or fixing things around the house gives her a deep satisfaction.
