Birth Doulas willing to travel to all local hospitals and/or Triangle area home births, supporting a variety of birthing goals
Why work with Emerald Doulas?
Work as part of a team of birth professionals who are well recognized and and respected by families and care providers alike. In fact, we were voted one of the 2018 Best New Businesses in Durham, by Durham Magazine!
Work within a community of experienced doulas who provide support and mentorship to one another. We work together to support new families, and build deep relationships with one another along the way.
You set your own workload!
We're a proud member of the Durham Living Wage Project. Earn (more than) a living wage and have a sustainable career, doing work you love! Plus, our calendars stay quite booked.
Emerald Doulas does the promotion and marketing for you! Emerald Doulas is a registered LLC with a strong, and well-planned social media and online presence. We have established long-term relationships with local care providers, hospitals, community groups and educators, and work hard to build and maintain those connections through positive interactions and professionalism. You can focus on what you love the most - supporting new families - and leave the rest to us!
