Danni (she/her) is a Mother and Baby Matters trained Postpartum Doula

As the eldest of four children, Danni became adept at helping out with infants at a very early age. Now that she has five grown children, as well as four grands, she has started her professional Doula journey. In 2005 she obtained her training through Mother and Baby Matters in Reston, VA. After working in Virginia, she moved to Carrboro to continue helping new families.

Danni has provided over 3,000 postpartum hours to families, including twins and triplets, special needs newborns, queer families, first time parents and families with older siblings. She loves being the calm, reassuring presence in a new family's home so they can rest peacefully.

In her off time Danni can be found reading hardback books, being in the sun, traveling with her partner, and crafting.
