Birth Doula Support: Your birth doula team provides continuous support, from the moment you hire Emerald Doulas, until your baby is born. In addition to our Community Prenatal Meetings, all birth doula clients receive an in-home, private prenatal meeting with your birth team to discuss your goals and vision for this next birth experience. They’ll help you build a birth guide, prepare you for having productive discussions with your healthcare providers, and nurture you and your partner with emotional support as you prepare to welcome your new baby.
24 Hours of Postpartum Doula Support: Allow our postpartum doula team to guide your transition home with your newborn with day or overnight support. Daytime postpartum doula provides time for sharing our best tips and advice for infant care, an opportunity for a walk outside, a nap or shower, or a hot cup of coffee, and a safe space to begin processing your birth story, when and if you’re ready to do so. Plus, your doula can help with background household tasks like meal prep, snack station creation, and laundry. Overnight care allows for your entire family, including you, to get the most sleep. Your overnight doula will tend to your newborn, support your infant feeding goals, and when possible, also help with light household chores or leave breakfast prepared on their way out in the morning. We are always delighted to extend our postpartum care with one of our Gemstone Packages beyond these 24 hours.
