Kacy (she/her) is a DONA certified birth doula and a Pro Doula Certified Postpartum Doula and Infant Care Specialist

Kacy has been a birth doula for 8 years and after seeing a gap in care for her newly postpartum clients, she trained to become a postpartum doula. She has a passion for supporting families during their postpartum period, however that looks to them. She is happy to lend a listening ear, support your feeding and sleeping goals, help keep your house in order and offer overall support to get to a stable routine in the home. Kacy is well-versed in assisting in newborn care, supporting breast/chest/bottle feeding, and helping clients adjust to the challenges and joys of parenthood. Kacy is committed to providing unbiased, inclusive and culturally sensitive care, recognizing and respecting the diversity of each family's configuration, background and values. She is adaptable and flexible in her approach to ensure each family receives the personal care they deserve and shift into as this new phase of parenthood unfolds.

Kacy lives in downtown Durham with her husband, two kids and two dogs.  She loves to spend time with her friends and family taking part in all Durham has to offer
